The framework for 8 (or 5)

   

The rebar framework for the individual planter spaces is in place. Wire mesh will be draped over the frame and coated with concrete to create short dividers. Still considering to cut the inner four spaces out to form a circular space in the center surrounded by four outer spaces. 

ferrous sulfate 硫酸第一鉄

I wasn't happy with the pinkish hue of the pigment I added to the concrete. 

So, I researched how to stain concrete with ferrous sulfate. FeSO₄.xH₂O

   A kind of iron salt that dissolved in water. I applied it with a brush and it oxidized within minutes giving an orange rusty hue instead. 

 

 

Now I just need some dirt....and seeds.
